Belarusian-Venezuelan Centre of Scientific and Technical Cooperation (BVCSTC) is created in march 2008 in conformity with to the Protocols of Assignments of the President of the Republic of Belarus and the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus.
The main objective of the BVCSTC’s activities is an arrangement of conditions for the development of economic, scientific and technical cooperation in innovation sphere between Belarus and Venezuela.
The Centre renders services to higher educational establishments, organizations and entreprises of Belarus and Venezuela in search of partners and networking in order to develop cooperation and to carry out joint research. It also assists the governing bodies in information support of the belarusian-venezuelan cooperation, including the management of joint belarusian-venezuelan projects being realized within the Cooperation Programme adopted at the Meetings of Intergovernmental Belarusian-Venezuelan Commission on scientific and technological cooperation.
Belarusian-Venezuelan Centre of Scientific and Technical Cooperation realizes integrated search of markets of scientific and high-tech production of Belarus and Venezuela, analyses legislation in the field of science and technology, industry and education of both countries, offers consultancy services, advertising of educational services of the higher education of Belarus attracting the citizens of Venezuela for undergraduate and postgraduate studies and training for highly qualified specialists.
The Centre cooperates closely with the Embassy of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela situated in Minsk
